Block C-LG-3, Garden Office Encorp The Strand, Jalan Pju 5/1, 47810 Kota Damansara, Selangor.
GPS Coordinates: 3.1542106 , 101.5941715
+ located at The Strand Garden Office, a new commercial area in Kota Damansara, next to Giant and CASCADE
+ quiet and cozy
+ interior has a woody, rustic, vintage feel
+ big clear window allows in natural light, dividing the cafe into the good (bright) or evil (dimmer) side :p well the brigther corner is a good place for some photo taking while the cooler, dimmer, cozier corners are best for enjoying your cuppa and a good read or catching up with friends.
+ there are some selections of books on the shelves for reading as well in case you are bored with flipping through your phone
Bottle water is provided while you wait for your food. My table deco is sporting a glass of coffee beans with a very insteresting ‘price tag’ art piece in it.
As I was looking around, this deco above their dessert showcase, with its interesting phrase caught my eye. It kinda rings in me and I couldn’t help but took a snapshot of it!
+ currently they are offering a rather limited choices on drinks and food
+ appart from the latte, mocha, cappucino and americano, they also offer ice-blended coffee with a choice of caramel, vanilla, butterscotch, mocha, espresso and chocolate (RM8-RM11)
+ if you feel like a few bite, Hashtag offers nasi lemak (RM3.90!), chicken grilled sandwich (RM12), bolognese spaghetti (RM13), cheesy fries (RM5) and soup of the day (RM7)
Hashtag’s (made in-house) Nutella Cheesecake was creamy and soft not overly sweet. If you prefer sweeter taste, the decorative chocolate sauce comes in handy.
The finely chopped nuts sprinkled ontop goes well with the cake to give it some nutty crunch.
As I was deciding which coffee to get, the lady introduced Caramel Macchiato, which is not on the menu. Since Macchiato was one of the coffee I would usually order, I gave it a try. The lady also asked if I would prefer single or double shot, so I went for single shot since it was already evening and I do not want to be too hyper later on.
The coffee came surprisingly big a cup, as I thought it was going to be a mini cup like how I had it at other places :p
Coffee taste was smooth, mild and not bitter. If you left the foam and caramel as it is, when you take a sip and then lick the caramel off your lips, the hint of caramel sweetness + coffee taste blended together perfectly. That’s my style~ yea
The 2 cute mini biscuit with icing ontop were a perfect match for the coffee too! *it is my favourite munchy since young!
I enjoyed the coffee and the cheesecake, the warm hospitality of the waitress and the very serene feel of the place. It really makes you feel like you are in the countryside, away from the hustle bustle of the city.
Would drop by again to try out their other items, nasi lemak perhaps 😀
