I have been to The Apartment a couple of times, and one of my favorite is The Apartment’s Seafood Stew Pie (RM21.90). It was so tasty, it inspired me to make one at home 😛 If you do visit The Apartment, give this a try 🙂
For this round, my hubby and I have ordered The Apartment’s Soup of The Day, Tomato Soup. The Tomato Soup was quite thick, almost like a puree/pasta sauce. Taste wise was flavorful and rich, however it was a tad too salty for our liking. The crispy toast bread goes well with the soup.
As both of us are small eaters, we ordered a salad and pasta for sharing.
We have tried many Caesar’s Salad at various restaurants, and not many can get it right. The Apartment’s Caesar’s Salad was one of the few good ones.
What is the deciding factor for a good Caesar’s Salad? We got to say is the salad dressing. Some restaurant’s salad dressing comes too sour and thick it almost choke me on my first bite. The Apartment’s Caesar’s Salad’s dressing was just nice, not too sour and not too watery/thick, the amount was just right. Most importantly, it was nicely tossed! *some restaurant’s come with blobs of salad dressing sitting around on top the lettuce O_o”
This Caesar’s Salad was sprinkled with cheese atop a poached egg with slightly runny yolk, croutons and crispy bacon bits. The ingredients goes well with each other giving us a very flavorful munch.
Once we pop, we can’t stop… we finished the whole thing!
For pasta, we have ordered the Tossed Pasta with Chicken, tossed with sauteed chilli, garlic, coriander & basil. Upon first spoonful, I’m hooked.
It was very flavorful with all the herbs & spices and not too oily. The amount of chicken was quite generous and nicely seasoned. I am guessing that they have used chicken breast, as the chickens were slightly dry & tough, which is common for chicken breast. Maybe chicken thigh would have been a better choice. The linguine pasta were cook to Al Dante, which is very important for a pasta dish.
Again, we finished it all and wished for more.. but alas ~ our stomachs can’t take in anymore 😛

The Apartment has never disappointed both my hubby and I throughout our many visits, except 1 or 2 dishes that were not up to our liking.
Overall, a good place for good food.
